Chia Seed Oil is a versatile ingredient rich in omega fatty acids, making it ideal for nourishing skin and protecting it against damaging UV rays—as well as fine lines and wrinkles. Its fatty acid content also makes it beneficial at restoring the skin’s moisture barrier, reducing trans-epidermal water loss (TWEL).
Wakame impedes collagen breakdown, smoothes wrinkles and fine lines and protects skin against UV radiation (decreases redness and increases moisture retention following UV exposure)
Fucoidan extract from Wakame Seaweed is highly effective and aids in preventing the formation of fine lines and wrinkles as it strengthens the skin for visibly improved firmness and elasticity.
Studies have shown that Fucoidan extract increases the expression of SIRT1 anti-ageing protein, inhibits collagenase and elastase that reduces wrinkle depth by 9% and skin roughness by 8% while increasing skin elasticity by 17%.
